Day 4
Day 4: Upon further exploration of the island I've arrived on, it seems as though this island is inhabited after all. As I went deeper into the jungle, I spotted what seemed to be houses suspended up in trees, like tree houses. There were ladders leading up to the them as well, leading me to believe that these 'tree houses' are being used. I didn't dare go up to see what was up there because I have no idea who these island inhabitants are. I also spotted in the distance what looked to be a shrine of some sort. Upon further observation I noticed there to be dried blood upon a stone with strange carvings in it. At this point I was a little worried so I readied my spear, luckily I didn't spot anyone as I ran and got out of there. I've decided that I must get off this island as fast as I can. Thankfully, before I came upon the grisly scene I had found a freshwater source. I also managed to catch a few fish, one being fairly large. Before I set off I'll try to catch some more fish and maybe snag a coconut or 10. I must repair my raft a little better before setting sail again so, unfortunately, I have to stay here one more night. I really hope whoever lives here doesn't find me. I'v set up shelter on a beach a fair distance away from the strange community, so I think I'm safe but only time will tell. This is the end of my writings for the day, hopefully I'll write again tomorrow.
