Day 3
Day 3: Last night my daring trip took a turn for the worst. A huge gale past through during the night and caused some massive damage to my tiny raft. The sea was producing waves too big for my raft to handle. Along with massive waves and blowing wind, my food and water sadly weren't secured that well and alas, I lost all of my supplies overboard. They sank to the bottom of the ocean before I could retrieve them from the water. This has put a bit of a damper on my round the world trip. My raft now has a pretty big sized hole in it. I've patched the hole with what I've been able to find and so far it's holding steady but for how long, nobody knows. Due to my food and water supply falling prey to the ocean depths, I've just arrived at a small, tropical island that seems fairly suitable to house a fresh water source, due to all the lush greenery and wild life. The island doesn't seem to be inhabited but I'll have to explore further inland to make sure my hypothesis is correct. I've fashioned a spear for hunting and in case of attack by unknown persons, as a defensive weapon. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though. This is the end of my journal entry for the day, I'll continue writing early tomorrow morning. By for now.
